Your First Visit

What happens during your child’s first visit will largely depend on their age and particular needs. For a child’s very first appointment, we’ll slowly introduce them to the practice and maybe perform a brief exam while they sit in your lap. For toddlers and above, their appointments will more closely resemble your own, including an exam, X-rays, and a cleaning. If your child has a particular issue that needs to be addressed, we’ll start on that right away and offer you a selection of treatment options.

Our number one goal is to help both your child and you feel comfortable starting at your very first visit, so if you ever have any questions, be sure to ask them! Also, if your child has mental or physical special needs, please call ahead so we can prepare the office for them and make any special accommodations that will help everyone feel more at ease.
